In this workshop for beginners, you’ll learn how to find the best data for your story, convert it into spreadsheets and then do quick calculations and pivot datasets to arrive at a range of conclusions that will inform your story. 
Key learnings will include how to convert complex government PDF documents into Excel/Google Spreadsheets, simple Excel calculations and tools to generate static/interactive charts for stories. This is a hand-on workshop so come with your laptop, curiosity and lots of questions.
